It’s no secret that Anberlin is my favorite band. Some of Anberlin’s critics say that their music is formulaic, and that’s kind of true. While the band has a variety of sounds on each album, most of their albums follow a formula–one that they have perfected over the course of seven records. There’s guitar-driven openers, loud guitar solos, and sometimes a little screaming. Then there are acoustic ballads. But today, I decided to focus mostly on the active pop-punk songs that feel most impactful to me in the Spring. I’m sure there are Summer, Fall, and Winter mixes coming soon too, but until then, enjoy the energetic songs of Spring:
